Most people don’t get enough fiber in their diet.  While we should be eating, on average, from 25-35 grams of the stuff, most people are lucky if they even get 10-12 grams.  If you know how many calories you should be eating, then shoot for 14 grams of fiber for every 1000 calories you eat.
